Policies
The commitments below are not boilerplate. They govern how this chapter operates.
Non-discrimination
Delta Omicron Chapter complies with the California State University Non-Discrimination Policy. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, color, age, gender, marital status, citizenship, sexual orientation, or disability.
Delta Sigma Pi has admitted members of all genders since 1975. Complaints under this policy go to the Chancellor or the Chapter Advisor and are handled under the Fraternity's risk management policy.
Anti-hazing
This chapter does not haze, and will not.
Hazing is a criminal offense in California under Matt's Law. It is prohibited by San Francisco State University, and it is prohibited by Delta Sigma Pi's risk management policy. It includes physical abuse, excessive mental stress, and verbal abuse — and a person's consent is not a defense.
Our pledge program is an education program. If anything in it ever felt otherwise, tell the Chancellor, the Chapter Advisor, or the University immediately. You can report concerns to SF State at dos.sfsu.edu/student-referral-reporting ↗.
Alcohol and risk management
All recruitment events are alcohol-free and held on campus or at university-approved locations. Chapter events follow Delta Sigma Pi's risk management policy and University policy on alcohol and controlled substances.
Privacy
Forms on this site collect only what we need to reply to you, and the information goes to chapter officers and nobody else. We do not sell it, share it outside the chapter, or use it for anything other than what you contacted us about.
Member and alumni listings are opt-in. Nobody appears on this site without agreeing to it, photographs are a separate choice, and our alumni directory carries names and pledge classes only — no employers, job titles, photographs, or contact details. Ask us to remove or change your listing at any time and we will.
Recognized Student Organization status
Delta Omicron Chapter is a Recognized Student Organization at San Francisco State University. The chapter is autonomous and responsible for its own activities and finances. Content on this website is produced by the chapter, and is not endorsed by, and does not represent the views of, San Francisco State University.
Trademarks
Delta Sigma Pi, the Coat of Arms, the Official Seal, and associated names and insignia are the property of the International Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi, Inc., and are used here in accordance with Fraternity brand guidelines.
